Glenn Barth is the President of GoodCities. Glenn is an effective leader and communicator with a doctorate in Transformational Leadership. Glenn has worked with city transformation movements at every stage of his ministry beginning in the mid-1970s. He has served as the founding COO and National Facilitator of City/Community Ministries with the Mission America Coalition where he guided the development of the Loving Our Communities to Christ initiative. He also served as President of the Leadership Division of Tentmakers. As a pastor, he has served churches in Ohio, Indiana and Minnesota. His work guides Christian leaders across the nation into effective holistic outreach. Glenn’s personal mission is “to mobilize the church in cities and communities for the transformation of lives and institutions under the Lordship of Jesus Christ by identifying, connecting and resourcing kingdom-minded leaders.” He has served on the US Lausanne Committee, the Mission America Committee and the National Prayer Committee. Rev. Philip (Phil) N. Olson passionately believes that local congregations make a difference as they share the Good News and good works with one another and the world that God loves. Having grown up in a Christian family and nurtured, trained and equipped in congregations that modeled effective Christian leadership, Phil believes that his experiences in life and ministry have prepared him for this special season of service to Christ and his church. Phil has authored numerous articles on ministry; co-authored several books (including Churches That Make a Difference: Reaching Your Community with Good News & Good Works – based on research of congregations in the Philadelphia area); edited a ministry website; and, helped plant a congregation in Jackson, NJ. He publishes a newsletter now in its fifteen year; teaches at Palmer Seminary; speaks, coaches and consults with congregations particularly on the subjects of leadership, congregational change, and community outreach. Born to Oscar (deceased) and Jean Olson in White Plains, NY, Phil served in the Army (including a tour in Vietnam), and graduated from the University of Colorado and Princeton Seminary. Married to Holly since 1872, they have two kids: Derek (in the Army), and Lizzy (in high school). COTM is the oldest worshiping congregation of any denomination in continuous existence in a mall. Started in 1966 as a merger of 3 congregations, it seeks to serve as a worshiping and missional community in the heart of the marketplace.

Ronald was born in Washington D.C. in 1953. He moved to New Orleans, his mother’s home in 1963 where he grew up and attended Catholic Schools. He gave his life to Christ in 1974 at an André Crouch concert in Minneapolis, MN. After graduating from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in Family Relations and Minor in Youth Studies in 1978, he returned to New Orleans to serve, as an urban missionary where he met is Belizean wife, Gilda. Ronald, Gilda and their first born, Amanda relocated to Virginia Beach to attend CBN University, now Regent University. Ronald earned a M.A. in Journalism with a focus in commercial photography. Ronald and Gilda home-schooled their six children 24 –14. Amanda married on May 24, 2008 to Jeremiah Queen. They live in Tidewater and both serve on worship team at New Life Virginia Beach.

Steve Lyzenga is currently a private real estate investor and is partnering with Mike Johnson and Joseph Umidi on the 58/12 Initiative towards community transformation. He also serves with House2Harvest, a ministry he cofounded that helps mobilize house churches to finish the Great Commission. Previously, he was on staff at a local mega-church, wrote and edited a leadership curriculum series for Leadership Training International, and traveled extensively around the world mobilizing leaders towards unreached people groups with Accelerating International Mission Strategies. Steve also served the USAF as a fighter pilot for 14 years. He recently graduated with his DMin from Regent University. Steve and his wife Kim reside in Newport News Virginia and are blessed with two grandchildren.

Eric serves with the Global Cities Team of Campus Crusade for Christ, which works inside and outside Campus Crusade to help promote movements of spiritual multiplication and societal transformation in cities by identifying and promoting multiple, sustainable Leader-Led Movements (principles, paradigms, models and strategies); providing support through research, technology, coaching and connection to the Body of Christ; and promoting the ethos of interaction that facilitates Movement. In addition to his work with Campus Crusade, Eric also serves as National Facilitator of Ministry Networks for the Mission America Coalition. The Mission America Coalition is a coalition of Christian leaders who have prayerfully come together to mobilize the Church for praying, caring, and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in deed and word. Since its inception, leaders from 81 denominations, over 350 ministries, nearly 200 city networks, and dozens of ministry networks have been involved in the Coalition. Some of Eric’s current work includes research and collaboration on Leader-Led Movements, citywide networks, marketplace ministry movements, metrics, and online ministry aggregators/portals.
